Thackray Museum of Medicine nominated for Emya2023
Congratulations to Thackray Museum of Medicine in Leeds for their nomination for the European Museum of the Year Award!
The museum reopened in May 2021 after a £4m redevelopment that saw the creation of 11 new galleries detailing the story of healthcare through the ages.
The Thackray Museum of Medicine is among 33 nominees for the Emya2023 award, which recognizes excellence in the museum sector across Europe.
The winner of the Emya2023 award will be announced in May 2023, and we wish the Thackray Museum of Medicine the best of luck in the competition.
