In it Together: Heritage and Community Engagement

Community projects are a rich way of understanding shared heritage. Exploring ways of working together with community groups can be a meaningful way to develop an understanding of diverse histories and build partnerships to help explore our heritage in different ways.

This day will feature training on developing community engagement projects. With input from the National Heritage Lottery Funded West Yorkshire Queer Stories project, Arts Council funded Make More Arts and West Yorkshire Archive Service’s community archive work, this will be a practical day looking at community partnership work.
