Elevenses – Wednesday 22 November
Earlier this year ‘research into admissions pricing policy in museums and its impact’ was commissioned. Dr Stephen Connolly, Director at DC Research, who led on the research project will be presenting the interim findings from this research, including the admissions pricing benchmarking results. This session takes place in advance of the final report which will be published by the end of the year. This will include the admissions pricing benchmarking results, and there will also be an introduction to the guidance that has been developed as part of the work which museums can use to help decide on admission pricing policies and strategies in the current challenging environment.
The document was commissioned by the Association of Independent Museums (AIM) and partners Arts Council England, Museums Galleries Scotland, the Welsh Government, the National Museum Directors’ Council, and the Art Fund and delivered by DC Research, working in partnership with Durnin Research.
Insightful, interactive and informal, come along to gain new insights from our guests, meet colleagues from the region, and connect with the MDY team. Everyone who works and volunteers in museums in our region is most welcome, including museum freelancers who want to stay connected.
