Meeting Point: Contemporary Art In Historic Sites

Calling all museums and heritage sites in the North

Find out about this highly regarded, competitive Arts Council-funded programme led by Arts&Heritage that mentors museum staff as they commission an artist, writer, performer or musician for their site.

We are inviting interest from small to modest sized museums in the North who demonstrate commitment to a lively and informed programme of workshops, visits to artists’ studios, meeting with art curators and managing an £11,000 commissioning budget with PR and marketing support. We will also provide a filmmaker and photographer to document your commission. Six museums will be selected to take part in Meeting Point3 – come along to find out what the programme could do for you.

A FREE introductory workshop will take place on Monday 18 June at The Tetley, Leeds www.thetetley.org where you will hear about the Meeting Point programme.

Spaces are limited, and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so please book early.

Please RSVP to becky@artsandheritage.org.uk by Friday 8 June. Please note that in RSVPing you are agreeing for us to contact you about this event in future.
