Collections Care and Management Programme 2023
This series of workshops, developed collaboratively by MDY, MDNW and MDNE, have been designed to support you and other staff in your museum to achieve, maintain and improve Collections Care and Management practices and to meet Museum Accreditation requirements detailed in Section 2 of the ACE managed Museum Accreditation Standard.
The programme will begin with an online session followed by a series of in-person workshops. These will be held at venues in the North-West, North-East and Yorkshire and you will be able to choose where to attend. There are three in-person sessions in the North-West and Yorkshire, with Collections Care Part 1 and Part 2 combined into one session in the North-East. The programme ends with another online session exploring the future of collections management.
We hope that you will choose to attend all 5 of the sessions in this programme, but this is not compulsory.
