AMA Conference 2023 Bursary
MDY will provide a bursary that covers the full cost of AMA Conference 2023.
Applications are open to both AMA members and non-members who meet the following criteria:
You are an individual, freelancer or person working for a small museum* that is Accredited or working towards Accreditation, located within the Museum Development Yorkshire region
*A small organisation is classed as having 10 or fewer employees and either less than £632,000 annual turnover, OR £316,000 or less on its balance sheet (a.k.a. what HMRC calls a ‘micro-entity’)

Next steps:
The AMA and MDY will assess each application and the AMA will email all applicants with a final decision in the week commencing 5 June 2023.

Please note:
— We will only award one bursary per organisation
— If you have already paid for a place at AMA Conference 2023, you will be offered a refund upon receipt of a bursary
— The bursary covers the cost of your Conference ticket only. You will need to arrange and pay for your own travel and accommodation.
— If successful, you will be invited to apply directly to MDY for an additional grant that supports expenses and caring or access costs
— The AMA and MDY will request successful applicants to provide feedback, that may be used for marketing purposes, on their experience of AMA Conference 2023
